Large artificial intelligence models have opened up new paths for transformation in the field of aeronautical information services. This paper explores their application potential in scenarios such as intelligent processing of Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) and automated design of flight procedures. It points out practical problems during the application, including data security, model reliability, ambiguous ethical definitions, and lagging regulatory adaptation, and also proposes corresponding solutions. It is expected to promote large artificial intelligence models to provide strong support for the digital transformation of aeronautical information services and the construction of smart civil aviation. • Explored the application scenarios of large artificial intelligence models in the field of aeronautical information services. • Pointed out four existing problems during the application. • Proposed corresponding solutions to support for the digital transformation of aeronautical information services.
