Since chaos started out being used in image-encryption methods, it has proven to be one of the strongest cryptographic sources. The evolution of chaos-based image encryption algorithms is carefully investigated in this research from a number of perspectives, including symmetric and asymmetric algorithms, block ciphers and stream ciphers, and interaction with other technologies. A system that is chaotic is one that is intricate and extremely dynamic, and it is defined by aperiodicity, nonlinearity, sensitivity to beginning circumstances, etc. Because of its complexity, the study of chaotic systems has grown in importance within the discipline of nonlinear dynamics. Conduct that is hard to regulate and predict. Chaotic properties including pseudo-randomness, topological transitivity, and sensitivity to beginning factors make it useful for enhancing image-encryption techniques and cross-referencing with other fields. Furthermore, this paper discusses current issues with chaotic picture encryption giving us a better view for the points needed development in chaos-based image encryption techniques.
