The applicability of computer technology has developed in the preceding two decades in such a manner that it has transformed a major chunk of those industries and everyday life of almost every person on earth to an extent that no sector including manufacturing, corporate or even communication can now claim that it has no bearing with advanced computing systems. But this has been obviously seen in the last few years, and despite this fact, there are certain fundamental issues and problems that exist, which are becoming a headache for the IT managers as they are most responsible to develop the dependable and secure infrastructure. Due to constant growth and development in network technologies, the risks that affect these systems also multiply proportionally to warrant complex attacks on the available structures and information communication systems that are vital for the functionality of such systems. More specifically, traditional types of security solutions that have been considered quite reliable for many years now prove to be notably inadequate in addressing modern multifaceted threats and new highly developed threat characteristics. Thus, in response to this important challenge, there arises Explainable Artificial intelligence as an extremely potent tool that can greatly reinforce security within a network. AI is modern and advanced technology that gives smart and improved ways to find out and respond to the intrusions in the sensitive information. A synergy of machine learning and deep learning enhances IDS capabilities for traffic inspection, malicious behavior pattern recognition and real-time monitoring of network traffic anomalies. This says significantly much about a more adaptive and proactive approach to cybersecurity: strategic information about potential threats and optimizing countermeasures in response to emerging complex threats.
