Improved LSD line detection algorithm based on geometric feature constraints

The LSD (Line Segment Detector, LSD) line detection algorithm, as a line segment detector in linear time, does not require parameter adjustment and has high accuracy. It is a widely used line detection algorithm. However, it also has problems such as long extraction time, most of the extracted line segments are short line segments, and long line segments are over-segmented. This paper designs an improved LSD line detection algorithm based on geometric feature constraints. It can effectively improve the efficiency of line feature extraction and increase the quantity and quality of long line features, providing an excellent foundation for the subsequent work.
