This paper explores the application of multilook processing for speckle reduction in passive bistatic Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial (DVB-T) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) by combining SAR images generated from different DVB-T channels, as opposed to looks formed through changes in geometrical configuration. The speckle reduction performance of the proposed multilook processing scheme is evaluated by comparing the relative variance, Speckle Suppression Index (SSI), and Equivalent Number of Looks (ENL) metrics to those of a single look SAR image and images generated using traditional multilooking methods. Results demonstrated reduced speckle in the multilooked imagery compared to the single look image.
