(Information Management In Accounting Departments-The Case Of Sakarya)

Information Management is a systematic process which relates how businesses reach, share, use and manage information in a competitive environment. With usage of this process businesses can achieved to survive.This research was conducted to emphasize efficient information management in accounting departments in a globalization process and measure existing information management performance. With this context, Firstly, information and information management process were theoretically analyzed and the survey was conducted in Small Business Enterprises’ managers of accounting departments. Data were analyzed with SPSS 13 package program and results were interpreted according to descriptive statistics and ANOVA tests.
