The present study developed three models to explore the associations among motivated consumer innovativeness, consumer artificial intelligence (AI) usage experiences, and consumer commitment from a human-centered AI perspective across four types of AI devices. Consumers of AI devices in Taiwan were surveyed, and 1,200 valid responses were collected. The findings indicate that regarding AI personal assistants, motivated consumer innovativeness (comprising functional, hedonic, cognitive, and social innovativeness) significantly and positively relate to consumer AI usage experiences (involving intimacy and understanding, enjoyability and involvement, autonomy, and the Internet of Things experiences), which positively relate to consumer commitment (affective and calculative commitment). Regarding AI generative chatbots and AI service chatbots, all paths were significant and positive, with the exception of those related to the Internet of Things experiences. Regarding sweeping robots, all paths were significant and positive, with the exception of those related to intimacy and understanding experiences and enjoyability and involvement experiences.
