Does AI anthropomorphic interaction promote employee innovative behaviour? A moderated mediation model

As AI spreads in enterprise systems, AI anthropomorphic interaction boosts employee innovation in digital transformation, though research on its tech stack integration is limited. Based on self-determination theory, this study explores links between it, motivational learning, employee innovation, and perceived organizational support. Using SEM and moderated mediation on 262 Chinese generative AI-experienced employees, it finds: 1) AI anthropomorphism drives innovation directly; 2) motivational learning mediates this; 3) organizational support moderates AI-learning and the mediated path. Findings advance human-AI theory, guide enterprise system implementation, and aid anthropomorphic AI integration in ERP/CRM/knowledge systems, stressing support for digital transformation advantage.
