Future Networks and Services

There are two metrics for determining the quality and strength of 6G in broad categories: Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE). QoS is the kind of service provided to the user, and QoE is defined as the experience of the end-user with the service provided to them. To fulfill the needs of the end-user, there is a need to develop and maintain a balance between QoS and QoE by providing a quality service that satisfies the user on different metrics. This balance can be attained by further improving and enhancing the Internet of Things (IoT) technology to create an environment that supports the 6G era. The current development in IoT systems has automated different sectors and benefited blockchain, metaverse, and traffic management systems. Aiming to introduce 6G by 2030, scientists are in the process of upgrading present technology and utilizing tools to enhance IoT systems. The professors and the teams have built systems, such as silicon chips and computing platforms, to support the 6G era. However, the growing technology has increased the need for having a code of conduct to utilize them ethically to keep confidential data from theft and install accountability systems in professional settings. The global conferences on ethical applications of 6G have paved the way to introduce the technology with legal implications in the near future.
