As Internet of Things (IoT) systems grew rapidly through high-speed internet networks, they introduced security threats that demanded powerful authentication platforms. The fast connectivity and reduced latency, along with extensive connected devices within 6G networks, make them suitable as a solid platform for future security measures. The research demonstrates that biometric authentication working with 6G-enabled IoT systems enhances security measures by enabling authorization controls with privacy protection. Bodily features such as fingerprints, combined with face features and voice qualities, should be used in biometric authentication since this security system offers higher reliability with stronger protective measures than conventional password mechanisms. Security developments from 6G IoT-based biometric authentication emerged due to the pairing of Artificial Intelligence (AI) threat detection with blockchain identity decentralization and quantum cryptography. The authentication system provides comprehensive security together with a convenient user experience to multiple application sectors like healthcare settings, industrial automation, and financial institutions. Successful deployment of 6G IoT-based biometric authentication needs resolution of privacy concerns and scalability challenges, and addresses moral issues by way of legislative frameworks and technological enhancements. This research evaluates the security capacity of 6G IoT-based biometric authentication by conducting a thorough analysis of its operational system capabilities as well as its future development opportunities and technical obstacles.
