AI in military airplane detection for safe city

Detecting military aircraft plays a vital role in ensuring smart city security, necessitating systems that can monitor airspace with high accuracy and speed. This paper introduces a system that utilizes the YOLOv5(You Only Look Once) algorithm alongside the OpenAI API to detect multiple military aircraft in real-time and automatically generate essential information about each aircraft. The system works by applying YOLOv5 for efficient object detection, refining the model with a tailored dataset of aircraft images, and incorporating the OpenAI API to offer detailed contextual data. My contribution lies in merging these technologies to create a solution that automates both identification and information generation, thus enhancing situational awareness during defense operation.
