Enhanced crowd monitoring through YOLOv5-based object detection framework

Crowd monitoring is widely used in various sector for safety management purposes like security, crowd management, gather monitoring.Standard crowd detection generally depend on regular observation or sensor rooted system, which can lead to inefficient and outcome of this will insecure the whole system. The research includes real time crowd detection using proposed approach(YOLO V5), which accurately defines the system outcome, by using this approach we can access the live cameras and can detect the crowd easily and efficiently. The framework we are using are derived from the publicly available datasets from which system will be trained proficiently. Performance of this system is compared by two crucial specification accuracy majored in percentage and speed majored in FPS (Frame per second). Crowd detection is widely used in various fields such as crowd control, traffic management, event monitoring which has crucial role in public safety.
