Fully Coupled Ising Machines: A Case Study
T. Kawahara · 2025
This chapter discusses the challenges of implementing highly integrated, fully coupled Ising machines. One proposed structure arranges spins linearly and uses a two-dimensional array for interaction cells. This reduces circuit size and allows for parallelism. Techniques such as pseudo annealing simplify hardware implementation. The chapter also introduces scalable structures, as well as advanced methods for spin updates and high-precision interactions, which enhance performance and expand capabilities.
