Rajasrikar Punugoti, Sirisha Manam · IntechOpen eBooks · 2025

Observability and auditing is critical in distributed architectures, as it allows for the observation of each service’s interactions with other services and the ecosystem, enabling the understanding of incidents and the identification of patterns and trends. In the world of scalable multi-tenant distributed architecture, observability provides greater operational insight, enabling the detection of anomalies and the troubleshooting of issues. Observability refers to the ability to monitor and understand the behavior and performance of systems made up of different software programming languages. The article proposes how to build tools to collecting, storing, and analyzing data to enable the identification of patterns and trends, as well as the troubleshooting of issues to improve Observability and Auditing.
