It is pursuit of a multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) system to realize the flexible control of information states, which demonstrates a robust capability to evaluate the performance of wireless information transmission. However, it is always a big challenge to characterize and manipulate these states for MIMO systems in complex space with high acquisition efficiency. In this paper, an information states manipulation method based on T-matrix algorithm is proposed, which is naturally suitable for MIMO systems in complex space. At first, a representative model of MIMO systems with disordered scatterers is leveraged. Next, the global and local scattering matrixes are characterized based on the T-matrix method. Then, the generalized Wigner-Smith (GWS) operator is derived to achieve effective focusing or diffraction information states of the desired target.
