Leader-Following Consensus of Switched Multi-Agent Systems with Hybrid Impulses

Siyao Chen, Bangxin Jiang, Shuting Sun · 2025

This paper investigates the leader-following consensus problem of switched multi-agent systems with hybrid impulses. Especially, we extend the concepts of both average dwell time (ADT) and average impulsive gain (AIG) to the limiting cases. To be specific, by utilizing lower limiting ADT and upper limiting AIG, switching signals and hybrid impulses are jointly characterized, which can simultaneously describe the cases of synchronizing and desynchronizing impulses. By combining the Lyapunov method with the relationship among ADT, AIG and system parameters, a sufficient condition is derived to ensure uniformly leader-following consensus. Finally, an example is provided to demonstrate the validity and advantages of the derived results.
