The global geopolitical tensions provide a significant obstacle to the establishment of sustainable societies. The persecutions lead to the movement of communities harmed by war from one territory to another in search of humanitarian assistance. Technology has played and continues to play a decisive role in safeguarding these migrants by offering identity verification to communication services, healthcare, and education. The implementation of blockchain- based digital identity management systems, healthcare, education, and communication platforms is considerably transforming the lives of war victims. Thus, this research evaluates the impact of technology progress on ensuring the safety of the displaced population resulting from armed conflicts.
