Purpose: This study explores the impact of integrating Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in library management in Nigeria Design/Methodology/Approach: The study is an explanatory research on RFID, a key technology for automating inventory tracking and enhancing security, has significantly modernized library systems in Nigeria, facilitating efficient check-ins, check-outs, and selfservice. Findings: The integration of RFID with IoT further advances library operations by enabling smart shelving, real-time data analytics, and personalized user experiences. Recent case studies from Nigerian universities demonstrate improved operational efficiency and user satisfaction through these technologies. Despite their benefits, challenges such as technical issues, privacy concerns, and implementation costs persist. Implication: Future prospects suggest enhanced interoperability, advanced data insights, and global connectivity will drive further innovations in library management. Originality/Value: It has been observed thus far that research topics exist on RFID and IOT integration but no one has carry out a study on enhancing library management through RFID and IOT integration in Nigeria: Benefits, challenges, and future prospects. Hence, the need for this study. Keyword: Library Management, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Internet of Things (IOT), and Integration Paper type: Non empirical research
