It is necessary to distribute missions among swarm constituents to increase its efficiency. A key aspect is the missions’ dynamic nature, implying that they must be completed not sequentially, but at predetermined points in time to increase the effectiveness of special missions performed by swarms of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The article proves the necessity to use a swarm of UAVs under various conditions during special missions. A dynamic optimization model for mission distribution among swarm constituents is developed by the author to ensure that the initial mission performance indicators are considered but their value decreases over time to obtain the true productivity of the mission distribution scheme in real time. Algorithms for formalizing the selecting individual mission plans process for all UAVs of the swarm is developed as well. They take into account the Bellman principle and resolving emerging conflicts that includes identifying conflicting missions and their distribution among swarm constituents. Based on the mathematical model, a dynamic mission distribution method for UAV swarms during special missions has been improved. In contrast to existing ones, this method adjusts individual UAV benefits regarding missions’ performance within the swarm and forms objectives advantages for UAVs as a function of time. The improved mission distribution method for UAV swarms during special missions considers the dynamic change in the mission performance efficiency in real time and allows for an increase of 1.5-4.5 % in productiveness of swarm mission performance according to the modeling results compared to the known methods.
