Software Development for Analysis of TVS Diodes Characteristics

A software tool is designed in the MATLAB environment to improve time efficiency and accuracy of extracting from experimental records the voltage-current characteristic of transient voltage suppressor diodes. The developed software can be used to compare the measured data with datasheet characteristics. The application software is a useful tool for engineers working in the surge protection industry and can also be used for educational purposes in high voltage engineering courses.
