In recent years, the increasing prominence of biological research has highlighted safety risks and high-intensity workloads faced by laboratory operators. To address these challenges, this study proposes an autonomous intelligent robot for reagent handling in biological laboratories. By combining an autonomous mobile robot with a collaborative robotic arm, the system is designed to automate the complex tasks in biological laboratory environments. The system integrates vision-based positioning, laser navigation algorithms, and a master-slave teleoperation control framework to enable automated execution of complex tasks such as sample transfer, pipetting, and diverse non-standardized operations. A series of experiments validate the system’s functionality, demonstrating high task success rates and precision. The experimental results indicate that this robotic system not only enhances the safety of laboratory operations but also offers an innovative solution to the challenges of automating tasks in biological laboratories.
