The increasing complexity of modern software development has amplified the need for agile methodologies that support adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This study implements the Scrum framework in developing Obesifix, a mobile health application designed to help users manage dietary intake, track physical activity, and receive personalized health recommendations. The agile approach was chosen to ensure that evolving user requirements and health guidelines could be quickly incorporated into the development process. The project was executed through three iterative sprints, each delivering essential features, including user authentication, food recommendations, calorie tracking, and progress visualization. Scrum enabled effective task prioritization, cross-functional collaboration, and rapid integration of user feedback, resulting in an application that closely aligns with user expectations and evolving health needs. Findings suggest that Scrum is highly effective in managing dynamic, user-focused software projects, particularly within the healthcare technology sector. By demonstrating a practical application of Scrum in addressing a public health issue, this study provides helpful guidance for future agile-based development in similar domains.
