The system focuses on assisting visually impaired and elderly individuals in identifying medications and providing voice-based instructions through image recognition and a multilingual voice response system. This solution addresses accessibility and healthcare safety concerns by preventing medication errors, especially for individuals managing multiple prescriptions. The project employs EasyOCR for text extraction and image classification, integrating IoT features for real-time assistance. It holds social and industry relevance by offering integration into healthcare platforms and telemedicine. The system also contributes to AI and HCI research, particularly in making advanced machine learning technologies accessible through user-friendly design. This paper explores the evolution of medication identification systems, emphasizing their increasing significance in the healthcare sector, particularly for elderly care. It also highlights existing limitations in current solutions and proposes an inclusive, comprehensive system for improving medication management and safety.
