Gamification and augmented reality (AR) have transformed robotics education by enhancing engagement and bridging the gap between theory and practice. This research presents an application called Robotive, an AR-based learning application designed to teach robotics concepts interactively. The system integrates gamification mechanics, including leaderboards, performance-based scoring, quizzes, and achievement badges, to motivate learners. Using cloud-based image tracking, users manipulate a virtual robotic arm to complete tasks such as object sorting while receiving real-time feedback. A user-centric design approach with iterative prototyping was applied to refine the interface and gamification elements. Preliminary findings suggest that gamified AR fosters engagement, improves conceptual understanding, and promotes competitive and collaborative learning. This study demonstrates that integrating AR and gamification in robotics education can enhance learning experiences and lower cognitive barriers.
