The emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT), which links commonplace items to exchange data and easily automate operations, has completely changed the way we interact with the outside world. But there are significant privacy and security issues associated with this quick expansion. Conventional IoT networks frequently rely on centralized systems, which are susceptible to single points of failure, illegal access, and data breaches. These problems erode confidence in IoT systems by jeopardizing the security of private and sensitive data. As an effective way for these issues, this research suggests combining blockchain technology with the Internet of Things. Data shared over IoT networks is safe, transparent, and impenetrable because to blockchain's decentralized and immutable nature. Every transaction is documented so that all parties may see and confirm it, improving data integrity and confidence. Smart contracts may also automate procedures without the need for middlemen, which lowers the possibility of human mistake and boosts productivity. We can create more dependable, efficient, and secure systems by fusing blockchain technology with the Internet of Things. The advantages of this integration in a number of domains, including supply chain management, healthcare, smart homes, and industrial IoT, are examined in this study. We also discuss possible issues like scalability and energy usage, emphasizing continuous attempts to get over these obstacles. In the end, this study demonstrates how blockchain technology and the Internet of Things may work together to provide a more transparent and safe digital future.
