Monitoring of urban infrastructure facilities

O.A. Mitina, D.K. Kifuala · 2025

Monitoring processes in urban infrastructure systems have been studied. An application software solution for monitoring and analyzing passenger traffic in an urban transport system with a forecasting function has been developed. Rapid urbanization and population growth are turning cities into complex systems that require smart management. The growth of flows and the load on infrastructure require the introduction of digital technologies for sustainable development and effective planning. Against the background of state digitalization programs, such as the "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation", and the global trend towards sustainable development, the role of monitoring and forecasting systems is increasing, ensuring the timely identification of problems and reducing the costs of operating and maintaining infrastructure. The result of the study is an application for monitoring and analyzing passenger traffic in an urban transport system, which allows collecting, storing, processing, visualizing data, and forecasting passenger traffic using linear regression. The work is practically significant for city transport departments, analytical services and urban planning specialists, providing a tool for making informed decisions on the development of transport infrastructure.
