From minor defects to severe faults, gas insulated switches (GIS) generally produce various parameter signals such as abnormal vibration, temperature, and partial discharge. Measuring and analyzing the multi parameter information of GIS isolation switches is of great significance for accurately obtaining their operating status. Therefore, this article simulates common contact defects of isolation switches through a 220 kV GIS experimental platform, studies the variation laws of vibration signals, temperature changes, and partial discharge signals under different contact states, and obtains their corresponding relationships with equipment states. A GIS isolation switch state evaluation method based on multi physical parameter features is proposed by combining health index theory and improved analytic hierarchy process. Based on the proposed method for on-site testing, the inspection results are consistent with the analysis results of the multi parameter comprehensive evaluation method, verifying the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
