False-Positive Recall and False-Positive Biopsy Rates in Mammography Screening: A TOSYMA Trial Subanalysis

A subanalysis of the TOmosynthesis plus SYnthesized MAmmography (TOSYMA) trial shows that digital breast tomosynthesis plus synthesized mammography screening had lower false-positive recall rates, especially in first-round participants, and higher false-positive biopsy rates than digital mammography, which were compensated by more detected breast cancers.
