By connecting devices, the Internet of Things (IoT) is revolutionizing health care, allowing patients with chronic diseases to be monitored continuously. Moving away from episodic monitoring to real-time data also enables earlier detection and timely interventions, greatly improving patient outcomes.) Wearables and remote monitoring systems among others are examples of IoT devices that generate the crucial health data, enabling healthcare professionals to make data-driven decisions. From faster connectivity through means like 5G to using Artificial Intelligence (AI) so that predictive analytics can be driven, IoT injects precision into operations, thereby improving the efficacy of care provided. However, challenges such as data security or interoperability keep being crucial. This study appraises the performance of IoT and Arduino devices in healthcare, specifically emphasizing on user satisfaction and challenges of implementation, intending to illuminate how IoT technologies could reshape delivery of health care in a significant manner.
