Innovation in mobile communication technology is being propelled by the increasing demand for real-time multimedia services via mobile broadband networks, which may be accessed through a varied variety of terminal devices. In terms of speed and spectrum usage efficiency, Long Term Evolution (LTE) outshines previous wireless communication protocols. Long-Term Evolution (LTE) uses OFDM and MIMO technology to accomplish its lofty capacity and data rate targets. Because of its remarkable spectral efficiency, intrinsic robustness to frequency-selective fading, and scalability, MIMO-OFDM has become a game-changing technology. Improving MIMO-OFDM systems' performance to match LTE standards is the main objective of this research. The major metrics used for assessment are throughput and bit error rate (BER), because they are important measures of the performance of any wireless communication system. To begin, a variety of linear and nonlinear precoding methods are used to create MIMO-OFDM systems in a multi-user situation. The results show that these precoding methods considerably boost system efficiency. Afterwards, a new scheduling method is shown to further enhance LTE downlink efficiency. This method optimizes performance for both mobile and stationary users by integrating scheduling with MIMO transmission mode selection.
