A PRISMA Systematic Review on AI-Enhanced Virtual Reality Solutions

In the recent years, the combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) has gained significant traction across various industries. Despite growing interest, scholarly research at this intersection remains relatively sparse. To address this gap, a systematic literature review was carried out, guided by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework. The review indicates that techniques such as deep learning and neural networks are commonly employed in VR settings, particularly for tasks like character movement, image enhancement, and activity recognition. Overall, the integration of AI into VR is opening up promising new avenues for innovation and application in multiple sectors.
