Constructing Virtual Prototypes in a Port Environment Using AR Technology

This paper explores the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) in the development of digital twins in port environments, with a focus on the Port of Durrës, Albania. Using the Adobe Aero platform, there were created virtual prototypes that visualize energy consumption through interactive infographics. The methodology includes energy data collection, infographic preparation, AR integration, and user testing. Results demonstrate improved user engagement, enhanced data comprehension, and potential applications for energy efficiency and decision-making in port operations. Future work will explore real-time data integration and scalability across other domains.
