In response to the growing demand for smart home automation, this paper presents an efficient, low-power system built around the ESP8266 microcontroller, designed for complete local network control without reliance on internet-based platforms such as Google Home or Alexa. This offline approach is focused on centralizing the home control and enhances reliability and security by eliminating external data dependencies. The system integrates key environmental sensors including temperature, humidity, motion, and infrared detection and allows device actuation (e.g., LED control) through a lightweight web-based interface for example. The proposed design demonstrates the practicality of a fully local smart home solution in terms of ease of deployment, responsiveness, and user privacy.
