A Novel Cross-Domain Authentication Scheme Based on Blockchain

To address the issues of complex authentication processes, low efficiency, inadequate protection of user cross-domain access information, and high deployment and operational costs in heterogeneous trust domain environments, this paper proposes a novel cross-domain authentication scheme using blockchain and threshold cryptography technologies. Users can generate arbitrary pseudonyms and initiate anonymous authentication, ensuring that their access information remains undisclosed throughout the process. The scheme uses threshold cryptography to conceal users’ real identity information while retaining a traceable path. In the event of identifying malicious users, legal tracking and punishment can be conducted based on the anonymous identity, thereby protecting the legitimate rights of the accessed domain. Simulation experiments demonstrate the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed scheme, showing favorable results in terms of communication and storage overhead.
