In embedded real-time systems, unpredictable workloads can cause both missed deadlines and rising CPU temperatures—two critical factors that degrade reliability and responsiveness. This paper presents a novel feedback-based scheduling framework implemented in FreeRTOS, where task priorities are dynamically adjusted using two runtime signals: deadline violations and internal temperature. Unlike previous methods that address these metrics independently, our scheduler combines both inputs in a single loop, introducing hysteresis to avoid frequent oscillations. Implemented on an STM32F491RC microcontroller, the system demonstrates reduced deadline misses and effective thermal regulation under varying load and heat conditions.
