The rapid growth of augmented reality (AR) technologies in mobile ecosystems has increased the demand for frameworks that combine performance, flexibility, and cross-platform consistency.Unlike traditional mobile applications, AR systems must process continuous sensor streams, maintain real-time 3D rendering, and support stable interaction, which creates significant pressure on both software architecture and device resources.React Native, originally designed for mobile interface development, has recently been expanded with AR modules and third-party libraries that connect it to native AR engines such as ARKit on iOS and ARCore on Android. This integration enables developers to build immersive applications from shared codebases, although performance trade-offs compared to fully native frameworks remain a concern. This study analyzes the architectural and operational aspects of AR deployment within React Native, with emphasis on rendering pipelines, sensor integration, and interaction layers.Experimental evaluation was carried out across three application scenarios: educational visualization, where AR supported comprehension of abstract concepts; interactive retail, focused on virtual product demonstration; and navigation support, requiring continuous spatial mapping.Performance was measured using standardized metrics such as frame stability, latency, and energy consumption. The results indicate that React Native, when bridged with ARKit and ARCore, ensures smooth interaction and acceptable energy use in educational and retail contexts. However, navigation tasks exhibited higher latency and greater battery load, highlighting limitations under resource-intensive conditions.Compared with native frameworks, React Native showed slightly lower efficiency in high-frequency tracking but demonstrated clear benefits in development speed, code reuse, and platform consistency.Optimization techniquesincluding asynchronous rendering, selective resource loading, and adaptive frame rate controlwere found to reduce performance constraints, confirming the framework's potential as a foundation for cross-platform AR applications.
