Kyongok Park, Young Ok Park · 한국생활환경학회지 · 2025

This study aimed to explore the benefits and limitations of applying care robots in the healthcare field from a sociotechnical perspective.Following Arksey and O'Malley's framework for scoping reviews, the research was conducted and the results were classified into four dimensions: technical, social-human, organizational, and macro-environmental.A total of 21 studies were ultimately included. The findings showed that the technical (76.2%), social-human (66.7%), organizational (47.6%), and macro-environmental (23.8%) dimensions were primarily addressed, with five studies encompassing all four dimensions.Moving forward, when integrating care robots into healthcare practice, it is essential to develop human-robot collaboration models, establish ethical standards for the use of care robots, and advance robot technologies that reflect the needs of care recipients.
