Alongside insufficient traditional health care practices, the contemporary world of information has no mechanisms to ensure the safety of patient information simply because the execution of cyber-attacks and data breaches is so easy. These breaches are made easy by storage with a single location used for the whole area that is the type of infrastructure. Blockchain technology secures the system that only the employees are allowed to access the systems which require Electronic Health Records (EHR) information through limiting access. This research is aimed at ascertaining the reduction in the average margin of the middleman and a decrease in security risk with the adoption of blockchain technology that guarantees the information of the patient is tamper proof and traceable. A combination of digital contracts (smart contracts), hashing cryptographic data, and DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) can ensure the control of who can access the data, while still allowing some limited access, thus a secure data transfer is guaranteed. The patient is at the controlling side of identity management through Blockchain, in which only certain parties have access to his/her information. Also, in the study, the assessed model of Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) was utilized along-side the comparison of PoW and PoS. The examples demonstrate how blockchain technology is able to add security, transparency, and an audit trail to document transactions in the healthcare industry which is what it needs most. Implementing these safeguards would outline the conditions required to allow prominent usage of future study development would primarily concentrate on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and smart health data, as well as the extension of scale if any, whose configuration had already taken place.
