Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) is most prioritized research interest in the automotive domain in recent years. Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) improve V2X communication by enhancing signal quality, reducing errors, and enabling reliable communication in challenging environments like urban areas with signal obstructions. The proposed work carries the performance analysis of V2X system using RIS technique taking into consideration of the Signal to Noise ratio (SNR) and bit Error Rate (BER) as the performance parameters using IEEE 802.11p wireless standard. This study compares the different RIS configuration by integrating the channel models such as the Two-Ray Ground Reflection Model and Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) modulation techniques. Cumulative Distribution Functions (CDFs) for SNR and BER are analyzed to assess the probability distribution of these metrics under different RIS configurations. Simulation results demonstrate that increasing the total number of RIS elements significantly enhances SNR and reduces BER, A configuration with 128 RIS elements achieves average of 80% improvement in SNR and an 72% reduction in BER compared to setups with 16, 32, and 64 elements. These findings highlight the promising role of RIS in advancing next-generation vehicular networks.
