Human Nature Interface in the Dakshin Dinajpur Region of West Bengal

The present chapter aims at tracing the settlement dynamics of the Dakshin Dinajpur region with special emphasis on Bangarh surroundings (apart from undertaking excavations at the site, no intensive study was done, especially on its early medieval parameters), taking into purview the nature of potteries apart from considering structural and sculptural remains pertaining to the early medieval period.
