Infinite web, limited education

The world of education is associated with gaining knowledge and developing societies while keeping the social fabric. Social media was also supposed to strengthen the exact purpose of flowing information, gaining knowledge, and developing society’s social fabric because it is social media. It made inroads towards developing connectivity amongst people because people desired that, but probably, people did not desire to use social media to gain education. The vast network we have today, if hypothetically, can be used for structurally disseminating education, would have made this world 100% literate. We have cloud-based information storage and exchange today, and we are storing knowledge in clouds and using it for the betterment of society. Still, the question is, can we use it to educate people structurally? For example, a young child studying in a tiny school in a smaller town or village could be directly educated by the best educational institutions. It’s not that the content is not available. The videos, the presentations, and the content can be searched for to be disseminated for that particular child, but could we attend those classes attended by many who are getting that opportunity? They may not get the same degree, certificate, or diploma. Still, the flow of knowledge might have been universal for everyone if we had designed social media for that purpose or included that purpose in expanding social media when we were doing that.
