In the past few years, cyber-attacks have increased due to everything being online. These online attacks and data breaches are causing real-world harms to individual and communities. In recent years, there have been a lot more cyber-attacks, and they have also gotten much more advanced. Therefore, developing a cyber resilient strategy is utmost significance. In the event of a cyber-attack, traditional security measures are insufficient to prevent data leaks and cyber-crimes. Cyber criminals have mastered the use of advanced methods and powerful tools for data intrusion, hacking, malware attacks, phishing, and spam emails. To encounter the advanced cyber-threats, there is a need for the development of advanced version of cyber-security system. Fortunately, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has the creation of intelligent models for securing systems against attackers. As cyber-attacks grow in volume and complexity, the advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has enabled business to identify and respond to cyberattacks. AI offers leveraging technologies like Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Data Analytics which offers unparalleled capabilities in detecting, preventing and mitigating cyber threats in real time. AI improves its knowledge through machine learning and deep learning techniques, allowing it to effectively understand cybersecurity threats and cyber risks. AI gathers insights and uses reasoning to identify the relationships between threats such as malicious files, suspicious IP addresses or insiders. This analysis takes seconds or minutes allowing security analysts to respond to threats much faster that is up to 60 times faster than using those traditional methods. AI eliminates time consuming research tasks and provides curated analysis of risks reducing the amount of time security analysts take to make the critical decisions and launch an appropriate and faster response to remediate the threat. AI helps humans manage security more effectively by detecting and stopping threats early and adapting quickly to new types of attacks.
