This chapter explores the pivotal role of intellectual property rights within the realms of digital technology and art. It begins by defining intellectual property rights, which encompasses legal protections for creative and intellectual works, and introduces TechArt as a genre-blending technological innovation with artistic expression. By examining 44 cases of which these nine TechArt disputes, allow the broader set of cases, the chapter reveals common themes and complexities unique to this hybrid field. These disputes, which involve issues such as copyright infringement, patent conflicts, and trademark concerns, highlight the nuanced challenges faced by creators and technologists. Insights gained from this analysis lead to policy recommendations for various stakeholders. The article thus contributes to a clearer understanding of IPR challenges in TechArt and suggests policy recommendations for the stakeholders' strategies and actions in this evolving domain.
