Optimizing web application security, scalability, and efficiency through modern development practices

In modern web application, trade off on strong security with solid operation and good efficiency still critical issue for developers or organizational team. A completely developed web application defense system is derived by researchers by employing advanced protection techniques that combine JWT authentication mechanism and CSRF protection while incorporating the tools for detecting security vulnerability under the OWASP Top 10 frameworks. The essence of scalability is analyzed through microservices architecture with its included asynchronous programming and load balancing techniques in different frameworks of the Spring Boot, MERN and MEAN stacks. Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST) and Runtime Application Self Protection (RASP) tools can be applied in both the pre production and live environments and thus provide application security benefits to both environments.
