The rapid evolution of cyber threats has outpaced traditional cybersecurity defences, as adversaries exploit the power of generative AI to create sophisticated malware and phishing attacks and polymorphic threats that evade detection. As such, this project combines both quantum computing and AI technologies to enhance proactive cybersecurity through the challenges above. This is because quantum-enhanced AI uses quantum algorithms to scan large datasets, detect anomalies and simulate attack scenarios with unprecedented speed and accuracy. The key features include threat modelling, response mechanisms from automation, quantum-safe encrypted capabilities, and real-time evaluation of vulnerabilities with AI detection modules. Generative adversarial defences and the detection of behavioural anomalies are developed to counter adversarial AI, from deepfakes and AI-driven social engineering. With the union of quantum computing computational power along with AI adaptability, this approach is not limited to mitigating current threats but future risks as well. The proposed solution serves as a basis for an intelligent, scalable cybersecurity framework that would protect critical systems, sensitive data, and digital infrastructure in the quantum era.
