Some Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) technologies offer high density and non-volatility, with read performance comparable to DRAM but higher write latency. This work leverages Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory and DRAM simultaneously by using a Non-Uniform Memory Access (NUMA) architecture. Redis is adapted to be the evaluated in-memory database, and our solution for the memory affinity management is then developed to properly partition datasets onto different memory areas. Experimental results show that our solution outperforms the other solutions for Makespan reduction.
