National Public Safety Broadband Network (NPSBN) is developed based on architecture and framework developed by many standards bodies, consortiums, and private organizations including 3GPP, ESTI, ISO, ITU, and IEEE. Architecture refers to the high-level conceptual structure and design principles of a system, defining its components, their relationships, and how they interact. An architecture provides a blueprint for the system’s overall organization and design. On the contrary, a framework is a specific set of tools, libraries, and conventions that provide a foundation for network and developing applications within that architectural context. Frameworks often facilitate rapid development by providing reusable components and predefined functionality.
