Performance Evaluation of Secondary Sampling Characteristic Curves for Home Appliances Industry-Based on Intercept Approach

Jiaping Lan, Zhijie Wang, Shuhai Fan · Advances in transdisciplinary engineering · 2025

In the home appliance industry, production quality is the core of enhancing competitiveness. The quality characteristic curve is the most important part of sampling inspection, but the evaluation of its advantages and disadvantages usually relies on empirical judgement and intuitive comparison, and lacks quantitative evaluation indexes. Based on the application of intercept evaluation index in primary sampling, this paper extends it to secondary sampling, conducts numerical simulation based on MATLAB simulation platform, and dynamically adjusts the parameters of sampling scheme to verify its feasibility. The simulation results and case studies show that the method can effectively and quantitatively measure the characteristic curve of secondary sampling, which can help to improve the quality consistency of large and small batch products in home appliance enterprises, reduce the defective rate, provide new ideas for quality inspection and management, and promote the continuous improvement of production.
