Cyber Ranges (CRs) play an important role in training cybersecurity professionals, testing security solutions, and preparing organisations against cyber threats. However, most CRs today operate independently, unable to effectively collaborate or share resources. This isolation limits their use- fulness in addressing complex, real-world cyber threats that require coordinated responses, and collective knowledge and expertise. In this paper, we introduce CYBERUNITY, a new federated architecture designed to connect isolated CRs into a unified network. We propose a modular framework enabling CRs to easily collaborate, share resources, and jointly conduct cyber exercises. We detail the overall design, its integration approach, and early validation results from practical testing events. CYBERUNITY ultimately aims to build stronger, more connected cybersecurity communities equipped to tackle future challenges together.
