Knowledge Graphs-based Computation Drug Repurposing with Oregano

In this talk, after a brief introduction on symbolic artificial intelligence and linked open data, I'll be covering the topic of computational drug repositioning using knowledge graphs (KG). In particular, I'll share the approach being implemented within the OREGANO project, which aims at providing an explainable (XAI) KG based solution for drug repurposing. This approach includes the design and implementation of a holistic drug related KG including natural products (plants) and a multi-hope XAI based strategy for justifying how the provided drug-target relations have been generated.
